Christina Sonsire was both professional and responsive to my inquiries
“I had the good fortune of finding the Ziff Law Firm when I was seeking New York counsel to represent a client in a disputed liability personal injury case. The firm achieved an excellent outcome for the client. Throughout the process, Christina Sonsire was both professional and responsive to my inquiries regarding the case. She was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend Christina and the Ziff Law Firm to other lawyers seeking New York counsel.”
Attorney, Columbus, OH
Christina has always been involved with public service. After graduating from Georgetown, Christina joined Americorps’ National Civilian Community Corps, a volunteer program often referred to as the “domestic Peace Corps.” Serving in the NCCC for over two years and performing more than 6,500 hours of community service, Christina had the opportunity to travel the country and work with a myriad of organizations doing everything from providing disaster relief with FEMA and the Red Cross, building trails in our National Parks, and working as an aid in inner-city schools.
Locally, Christina is a former member of the Notre Dame High School and Chemung Valley Montessori Boards of Directors, and has served as the secretary of the Arctic League Board of Directors for the past six years. She is also currently a soccer coach with the Chemung Valley Soccer Association. In 2007, Christina received the Jefferson Award for Public Service for her public service contributions to the Southern Tier.
Christina is married to Damian Sonsire, an Elmira native and fellow Notre Dame High School graduate who has worked as a Chemung County Assistant District Attorney since 1999. In her spare time Christina enjoys running, camping, reading and, more than anything else, being a mom to her two amazing young daughters.
