The Ziff Law Firm has done it again.

In a ranking decided by our peers, our law firm was rated as the Best Law Firm in the Southern Tier of NY – from Binghamton to Steuben County – in the 2021 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers in America “Best Law Firms.”

We were selected as best lawyers in “Plaintiffs Personal Injury Litigation” for the 10th year in a row, the only plaintiffs’ firm in the Elmira, Corning or Ithaca areas to receive such designation. We were also recently named the Best Law Firm in the Twin Tiers by readers of the Elmira Star-Gazette and Corning Leader.

Unlike many lawyers who handle all types of legal matters, years ago our firm decided to limit our practice to only representing people who have been harmed by others in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Our single-minded focus on doing one thing … and doing it well … truly transformed our practice.

What makes this prestigious award even more gratifying this year is that with all of the difficulties created by the pandemic, our Ziff Law team has managed to keep working at a very high level.

We’ve provided our usual outstanding level of client service using the combination of our cutting edge in-office legal technology with a seamless transition to working remote thanks to a tech-savvy team. We have not missed a beat … although the team misses working together in our law offices in downtown Elmira. But we are doing what we have to do to stay safe and healthy for our families and clients.

We’re consistently in the national Best Lawyers rankings. I was named the Best Lawyer “Lawyer of the Year” in our region in 2015, 2017 and 2019. And my law partner Christina Bruner Sonsire was recently selected “Lawyer of the Year” for 2021.
