Eric Johnson prac­tices full time in the areas of Workers’ Com­pen­sa­tion and Social Secu­rity Disability.

Eric received his under­grad­uate degree from East Car­olina Uni­ver­sity, grad­u­ating in 1998 with a Bach­elor of Sci­ence in Nursing. Eric has worked in a mul­ti­tude of prac­tice areas as a reg­is­tered nurse. Eric has been licensed as a reg­is­tered nurse in North Car­olina, Penn­syl­vania, Hawaii and California.

Eric grad­u­ated from Penn State’s Dick­inson School of Law in 2002. While at Penn State, Eric was a member of the Penn State Inter­na­tional Law Review, the Fed­er­alist Society and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fra­ter­nity. Eric was licensed to prac­tice law in North Car­olina in 2002; how­ever, he decided to take up surfing and took travel nursing assign­ments in Hawaii, Cal­i­fornia and North Carolina.

Eric then decided to get down to the prac­tice of law and worked in the areas of bank­ruptcy and housing law with a public interest law firm in North Car­olina. During these years, Eric main­tained a friend­ship with law school class­mate Matt Hughson and that’s how this surfer/nurse/lawyer found his way to Elmira in August of 2007.

Since August of 2007, Eric has worked closely with the lit­i­ga­tion team. Eric was licensed to prac­tice law in New York in Sep­tember 2008. Eric’s years of nursing expe­ri­ence make him ide­ally suited to the medical-evidence inten­sive prac­tice areas of Workers’ Com­pen­sa­tion and Social Secu­rity Disability.

Eric is a member of the New York State and Chemung County Bar Asso­ci­a­tions. When not prac­ticing law, you’ll find Eric working out or swim­ming. In the winter, he enjoys skiing.
