Eric Johnson, Attorney
Eric Johnson practices full time in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability. Eric received his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Eric has worked in a multitude of practice areas as a registered nurse. Eric has been licensed as a registered nurse in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Hawaii and California.
Eric graduated from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law in 2002. While at Penn State, Eric was a member of the Penn State International Law Review, the Federalist Society and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Eric was licensed to practice law in North Carolina in 2002; however, he decided to take up surfing and took travel nursing assignments in Hawaii, California and North Carolina.
Eric then decided to get down to the practice of law and worked in the areas of bankruptcy and housing law with a public interest law firm in North Carolina. During these years, Eric maintained a friendship with law school classmate Matt Hughson and that’s how this surfer/nurse/lawyer found his way to Elmira in August of 2007.
Since August of 2007, Eric has worked closely with the litigation team. Eric was licensed to practice law in New York in September 2008. Eric’s years of nursing experience make him ideally suited to the practice areas of Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability.
When not practicing law, you’ll find Eric working out or swimming. In the winter, he enjoys skiing. Eric plans on taking up kiteboarding this spring to take advantage of this area’s beautiful lakes.
