Featured Motorcycle Crash – Traffic Violation $175k
Attorney Mike Brown represented a Binghamton-area man who suffered severe shoulder injuries when his motorcycle was illegally cut off by a left-turning driver in Binghamton on June 15, 2018.
Mike’s client, who worked for a business equipment installation company and as a college coach, suffered a torn rotator cuff and other injuries to his right shoulder that required surgery.
The driver of the vehicle pleaded guilty to Failing to Yield Right of Way, a violation, and was fined. Because of the guilty plea, the driver’s liability could not be contested by the driver’s insurance company.
The insurance company settled for $175,000.
