Just in the past 9 months I've had to turn down 3 motorcycle accident cases involving severe injuries, including one that involved a death. In each one the motorcycle had no Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage which was fatal to the claim. The other negligent drivers involved either were uninsured or only had $25K in coverage. Many motorcycle riders mistakenly believe that they are covered under their auto policy - WRONG. You need to purchase a separate motorcycle policy to be covered!! A very good blog.
