What I can tell you is that it is important that you talk to your lawyer and find out from him or her what is the current status of your case and when they expect some resolution of the case. While it is tough for any lawyer to give any <em>precise</em> time-frames for the resolution of any civil case-- because there are so many variables-- some of which are within your attorney's control and many of which are NOT within your attorney's control-- it should be possible for your attorney to give you a ball park estimate how long your case should take.
